Why did the founders of Pro Life Communications decide to form a company that would donate 100% of its net profits to pro-life causes?
In June of 1998, co-founder Joseph Dalton received a calling to start Pro Life Communications. At this time, he received a significant amount of detailed information of how the ministry should be formed. The most prominent detail was that all of the company’s profits would be donated. For months the Dalton’s struggled with their calling, asking questions like “how could we obtain start up financing for a company that donates all of their profits?” About this time, an old friend of Jane Dalton, whom she hadn’t talked to in years, came to her with a message she had received while at church. The message was “Somewhere between your vision and impossibility, I will provide the way. Go Travel on.” With this conformation, the Dalton’s left their successful careers behind and started Pro Life Communications. Since it’s founding in August of 1998, Pro Life Communications has donated 100% of it’s profits to the pro-life cause.
