Why did the employees in the wtc go back to work after the accidents?

We had no choice. I worked across the street and was directly in 911. We went back to work 14 days later once our water and electric came back on. I will tell you this. If I had known for one split second that the horrible air (for which we were sent home twice in early October) was going to affect me as it eventually had, I would have quit my job right then and there. My asthma worsened and I have COPD which is incurable but manageable – as best can be. That was no accident. It was pure and simple: Murder.
