Why did the early Americans exterminate the majority of the original Indians?

The Native Americans were lied to and cheated out of their land. Our aggressive forefathers fought them to take the land when lying didn’t work anymore. There was plenty of room for coexistence but the Native Americans didn’t like that we wanted all of the best lands and forced them to live in the worst. America pays for lots of American Native programs. I can’t see how they could sue to claim the lands back since none of the original people who took their land is alive. Our N.A. programs are the way it was satisfactorily arranged.I don’t fully understand the other part of the question or the part of the US involvement with the other countries. Sorry.
