Lyrica is a very complicated drug. It is used for treating pain and also seizures, anxiety, fibromyalgia and a few other things. It works by slowing down the conduction of nerve cells. It has lots of side effects. Some people get tired, others get confusion, nausea or vomiting. Some people can get terrible allergic reactions like the one you asked about. Stevens Johnson syndrome is a very severe allergic response where the tissue in your mouth and around your eyes can peel off. You will need a good doctor to follow you and you will get better. Lyrica also has side effects when you stop it, called withdrawl syndromes. It is not a great medicine!!! My mom was put on it by her doctor and she got really sick from it too. I would avoid it! I hope this helps!
