Why did the Client Security Agent fail the anti-virus test?

0

The Client Security Agent (CSA) verifies that each computer has one of the following anti-virus programs installed on your computer: • Trend • McAfee • Norton/Symantec • AVG • Sophos • Kaspersky The CSA requires your anti-virus program to have the latest version and engine. Information Technology does offer a current version of McAfee VirusScan, free of charge. This anti-virus program can be found on the Virus Protection/Repair CD, which can be obtained in person at the Help Desk. The direct installer for McAfee VirusScan can be downloaded at the Software Download Center. For instructions on installing McAfee, please visit http://helpdesk.oit.cmich.edu/resnet/mcafee.asp. IMPORTANT NOTE: Before installing an anti-virus solution, please make sure that no other anti-virus program exists on your computer.
