Why did the British Ruler wanted to teach the Indians?
The British Rulers wanted to teach Indians for many reasons as follows: (i) India is a vast country with different local languages. To rule such a country, the British require Indian people with English knowledge. (ii) As India is a country of different regional language, the British Ruler require Indians having different regional language to be educated with English knowledge for better communication in the service of administration. (iii) The British Rulers were cultured people; they want Indians should be taught human culture as Indians are human beings.
