Why did the British Fashion Council choose to set up a Model Health Inquiry?
The Model Health Inquiry was established by the British Fashion Council (BFC) on March 23, 2007, in response to concerns about the health of models on the catwalks at London Fashion Week. As a recognised centre of excellence within the global fashion industry, London has significant influence across a range of industry issues. The British Fashion Council, as the organiser of London Fashion Week, is committed to ensuring that it supports and helps to develop working practices across the range of disciplines which represent British fashion.
