Why did the alcohol prohibition start?
It started because Evengelicals thought it would be a good idea to sober America. They thought that alcohol was the main problem to many of the things that were happening (family abuse, accidents at work, violence in general etc.) Well im sure the government learned quite the lesson to think twice before Prohibiting something again…judging from the repracussions…
