Why did Takanori decide to start producing himself and re-release all his CDs with himself as the head producer?
A. Alas when I had the chance to ask him myself, it was taken away due to a series of unfortunate events :-). Hopefully someday we will hear it, but at this point it’s basically unknown. Daisuke Asakura is only ever credited as “Music Producer”, and usually receives no credits in concert DVDs, despite the fact that he built T.M.Revolution from the ground up and has written every song for the project. Takanori’s website does indeed now boast that he is self producing, and “has written some lyrics also”. Takanori lost many fans’ faith when he chose to drop Daisuke as his head producer and has been struggling in Japan ever since. His glory days have ended.
