Shell is responding to the recommendation by the government to post prices and taking it one step further by displaying the nett prices (pump price after discount) for both petrol and diesel. Shell’s decision to move to nett prices on our price board is in response to customers’ feedback that they find the current discount signs to be extremely confusing. Shell’s new price board helps to provide simple and transparent pricing to customers by stating upfront the nett unit price/litre.
