Why did Saving Grace return?
[Read the article: TV Daily] [Read more letters about this article: Here] Saving Grace is proof that you don’t have to agree with a critic to enjoy their writing, esp. when the writer is as good as H.H. I found Saving Grace to be a big disappointment. Holly Hunter is great, but the rest of the show is either mundane (all of the cop-show stuff) or … well, let’s just say I’m probably not the intended audience for the angel plot. There are other options for viewers who want to see strong, middle-aged actresses showing off their chops on television (hello, Damages; hey, Friday Night Lights, please be as good as Season One). Saving Grace is a poor show, and I was surprised to see it back.
