Why did Redeye AutoRemover not correct my sons glowing eyes?
We observed that in certain cases, people might have glowing eyes rather than red eyes when the redeye problem becomes more severe. The glowing eyes are very difficult to remove automatically even if the detection engine identifies them correctly because the original texture of the eyes is totally lost. In this situation, to remove the glowing effect one needs to restore the missed texture, which is a process very difficult to automate. We therefore decided to leave out these cases in current version.
