Why did Ray and Debra choose to live across the street from Rays parents?
In the flashback episode, “Why Are We Here?, when Ray and Debra found out that Debra was pregnant with twins, they decided that they needed to move out of their little apartment in Queens. Frank suggested they move into the house that was directly across the street from them. When Ray and Debra checked it out, the key selling point for Debra was the fact that her in-laws were right across the street. Ray however knew better.
