Randy Savage was contacted about appearing in a Battle Royal on WCW Thunder but Savage couldn’t come to an actual contract with WCW. Savage and WCW officials had been arguing about how much money Savage would make ever since his contract ran out in 1999 but the talks stopped after the beginning of 2000. They started to pick up again in the middle of 2000 but nobody could still come to an agreement.
