Why did Raincoast Soak Factory remove Shea butter as an ingredient in its products?

0

Raincoast Soak Factory stopped using Shea butter as an ingredient for one reason, our customer’s health. Shea butter contains naturally occurring Latex. The Latex allergy is a progressive auto-immune allergy which causes contact dermatitis (a rash) which gets progressively worse every time you encounter it. It simply was not acceptable for us to continue to use Shea butter. We realize that Shea butter is currently very popular, but to us hip is not always better.
