Why did Rachel use the crossbow when it seemingly never worked against Dracula?
Dracula was often able to elude Van Helsing’s crossbow bolts by changing into a bat or mist. Dracula often ridiculed her lack of effectiveness with the crossbow. However it should be noted that Van Helsing slew several vampires with her crossbow and wounded Dracula several times in the series with the crossbow.
