Why did People created school subjects?
School subjects are the easy way to divide up knowledge. Then you can devise ways of teaching it to children. “Science” is a recent addition to the scene.The word originally meant “knowledge”. Then along came Joseph Huxley and talked about science in the modern sense of the word and it has been that way ever since. If you dislike the way information is compartmentalised then try to organise it in a different way yourself. You will find it a lot easier to stick to the patterns that have been tried and tested. Even savages taught their children in an organised way. They had cooking, hunting, gathering and fighting to name but a few.I suppose you could try these but it will make you unpopular with your neighbours.
