Why did our human ancestors travel the World but the chimps stayed in the trees?

The real reason is that chimps are too sensible to stitch themselves up with a mortgage at today’s mad house prices or pay the kind of cruel rents presently causing poverty and misery in the UK. Darwin in my opinion was brilliantly correct in the origin of the species except that he got the Homo Sapien part backwards. Man will be lucky to evolve into an ape. I have been trying to evolve into an ape but the council will evict me if I try to live in the trees. They also stay in the trees because of the terrible television these days. Enough to drive you out of the house even if your lucky enough to have one. NO intelligent ape would want to watch so called reality TV.

It is hard to know for sure without having been there, but the human ancestors were able to travel along seashores, in boats, and through deserts to migrate out of Africa. The ancestors of chimpanzees could not do any of these things.
