Why did Oda copied other anime characters looks and rename their names?
There is no evidence of plagiarism in Oda’s work. One Piece characters are original by both design and names. There may be some characters that remind viewer of other characters from other series, but such similarities are bound to exist in every anime/manga. Before making any claim of plagiarism, you should also consider the fact that One Piece was first created in late 1996, almost 14 years ago. Claiming such a thing out of spite without any evidence is nothing but rude to both Oda and One Piece fans.
