Why did NJ Transit suspend service to New York City?
NJ Transit has suspended service to and from Penn Station in New York the afternoon of April 28th because of a brush fire near the tracks in Union City, N.J. NJ Transit says Midtown Direct service is being diverted into Hoboken. Tickets and passes for PATH trains to New York will be honored at Hoboken and at Penn Station- Newark.
