Why did my coverline change?
Your coverline may change as you add new temperature data, since it is not considered “final” until you have a complete thermal shift identified (see the preceding FAQ Item 3 for more information on thermal shifts). For example, in the following example Ovusoft draws the coverline appropriately at 97.9. However, the next day, the temperature dropped below the coverline to 97.8, invalidating the preceding coverline and causing it to be redrawn at 98.
