Why did my computer make farting like sounds?
A grating or “farting” sound as you’ve put it, can be caused by a number of things, which are all to do with components in the computer, so the keyboard will not affect it. If the computer casing has been opened recently, there’s a high chance that an internal cable caught on a fan. If the CD/DVD drive was running at the time, as it is a moving part sometimes things catch on each other and make a startling noise, same goes for the hard drive, especially if it is an old hard drive and not very lubricated.
