Why did my breadmaker belt shred or break ?
Your breadmaker’s drive shaft needs to be lubricated. We highly recommend you perform the following services during your new or used belt installation: Service 1: Lubing the Shaft of the Bread Pan Lube the backside of the kneading paddle mounting shaft with Lock-Ease Graphited Lock Fluid. Shake well before each application. With your bread pan upside-down, liberally apply lube to the shaft’s bowtie, allowing the lube to flow up and over the bowtie and down into the shaft assembly underneath it. Repeat application 3 more times, 15 minutes apart, rotating the shaft two full turns before each following application. Note: Leave the bread pan turned upside-down during the entire process to allow the lubricant time to penetrate. Next, rotate the shaft several times clockwise, then several times counter-clockwise to confirm repair. And finally, place your bread pan right-side-up on three paper towels. Wait 24 hours before using your bread pan to insure all excess lubricant has evaporated. Ser
