Why did Mr Bruce Hales meet with Prime Minister Howard and what was discussed?
Mr Hales met with the Prime Minister principally as a long time constituent of his electorate. They discussed general economic matters and Mr Hales assured the Prime Minister of his prayers as the Head of an elected government. Mr Howard himself has said there was nothing wrong with such a meeting, pointing to the Brethren as a lawful organization and that he considers it his job to meet with many groups.
