Why did Motion not include a fan on the LS800 include a fan, but did include a fan on the LE1600?
A. The LS800 does not have a fan because maintaining a small size and weight were of paramount importance in the product design. The LS800 uses a ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) Pentium M to get outstanding performance within the thermal limitations of a very small product. The LE1600 does have a fan which enables the use of a LV (Low Voltage) Pentium M which does provide a performance boost over the LS800.
