Why did Michael Jackson create Neverland Ranch?
Michael Jackson created Neverland Ranch because he wanted to have a place that had everything he never experienced as a child. There are rides, animals, and a movie theater. As a child, MJ was always touring and practicing so he never got to enjoy those things. MJ used to invite sick children to the Ranch and enjoy the day as part of his humanitarian effort. He called it Neverland as a tribute to a place where kids don’t have to grow up – it’s very symbolic.
