Why did Macho Man and Elizabeth stop working together after Wrestlemania 5?
There are several reasons why the two parted. Firstly, although they were married that didn’t necessarily mean they had to work together. For the sake of storylines and plot’s it was inevitable that the two should part at some time. Also, the fact that they were married was not publicly known. As rumours of their off screen relationship began to surface, Vince McMahon thought is best that the two split for a while.
