Why did Lucifer fall from heaven?
He fell because of pride. He desired to be God, rather than to be a humble servant of God. An angel of great beauty, Lucifer was likely the highest of all angels, the most beautiful of all of God’s Angelic creations, but he was not content in his position. Instead, Lucifer desired to be God, to essentially “kick God off His throne” and take over the rule of the universe. Lucifer wanted to be God. Even as Lucifer was cast out of Heaven, he never wavered from his own self-belief that he would make a better God. He believed his own lie. He believed he had the answers to everything. He believed his coup attempt was no doubt the right decision ever made. Hence he has never admitted that he was wrong.
