Baldur, is killed by his younger blind brother, Hodur, who was tricked by Loki (who was insanely jealous of Baldur and his popularity), to throw a sharpened mistletoe bough which pierced Baldur’s heart. Being blind, the younger brother did not know that the stick was sharp and where he was throwing it. So this act of Loki enraged Odin, who was Baldur’s father.
