Why did Lisa Bonet leave the Cosby Show?
After she gave birth to her daughter, she returned to A Different World, but her erratic and unprofessional behaviour became worse. She was often late for show tapings, and sometimes didn’t bother to show up at all, so she was finally removed from that show entirely. She was brought back to The Cosby Show then, but as she continued to behave badly, she was eventually fired again, this time permanently. When the show aired it’s finale, Lisa was not invited to participate in it.
