He didn’t like him, Arthur actually platonically loved him and was very saddened by his betrayal, he didn’t want to go to war with him was he bound by the law he had made that anyone committing treason would be put to death he was goaded into by his son Mordred

Lancelot chose church and God over serving King and land. He followed Gwuiniveres lead and they left Arthur alone to defend the land from curses put on the people by the church.
