Why did Kane have to remove his mask?
Kane has been working his masked Big Red Machine persona for almost six years after debuting at the Bad Blood ppv in 1997.The storyliners probably figured it was time for a change in order to keep his character fresh and interesting.So they booked Kane into a challenge for Triple H’s WHC title in June 2003, with the stipulation that if Kane lost, he had to remove his mask.Triple H won the match after interference from Evolution.
