Why did Jodie Sweetin let the olsen twins still her popularity on full house?
When Full House first started I would say the show focused more on D.J. and Stephanie than Michelle. Since Mary-Kate and Ashley were so young at the time there was only so much they could do with them. I would say the show started to focus more on Michelle during the character’s elementary years. Personally, as a viewer of Full House during the original run, I grew tired of the show practically turning into Michelle’s House. I would guess the main reason for Mary-Kate and Ashley’s fame was the fact they’re twins. More people knew them because they had a view made-for-tv movies, they had a few movies that were direct-to-video, had their own makeup line and fashion line at Wal-Mart, and had a few other television shows after Full House. I am not sure if Jodie was type-casted after Full House or wanted to focus more on high school and college. I would imagine a lot of long-running TV actors/actresses have a hard time obtaining new roles due to people associating them with a certain charac
