Why did Jesus appear to Mary Magdalene FIRST ?
Because according to history they were united in marriage and later had children together. Also if you read the bible with an open mind you will find it there also. History also reports of them living together after the crucifiction and are buried together. Sorry if that upsets some but is historical fact and not fiction. The famous picture of them taking the dead body of Jesus from the tomb has only one problem, first Jews could not touch anything unclean ( such as a dead body) and the action was at night which would have made it during the sabbath which would also have been tabu.
