Iowa Health System wanted a partner that shared its vision for transforming health care using technology, and Allscripts has already proven to be a good partner for the health system’s employed physicians, all of whom use the Allscripts Electronic Health Record to automate everyday clinical tasks and access critical information at the point of care. Financial strength and resources to handle the needs of thousands of community physicians were also key considerations.
