Why did India deny visas to some French journalists?

Normally, there is a very standard policy of the Government of India on issue of visa to journalists. If the person is an accredited journalist, is coming for a genuine news purpose, is supported by letters from his news organization or editor, then our Missions are empowered to give visas.
