Why did imeem acquire SNOCAP?
Like SNOCAP, imeem believes that musicians and labels should be able to control the digital distribution of their content, and easily promote and make money from their music online. SNOCAP built a really great way to give artists and labels that control, through its Digital Registry and content identification technology as well as its SNOCAP Store product. imeem saw an opportunity to work together with SNOCAP to give artists and labels new ways to promote and sell their music online through widgets, applications and social networks.
