Why did I receive a supervisor reminder (or late reminder) email when there are no timesheets awating approval?

Supervisors are sent reminder (and late reminder) email messages if there are any timesheets that have not been approved so the supervisor can take action. Timesheets that have not yet been final submitted by an employee (i.e. late timesheets) are not approved and therefore fall into this category. In this case the “action” the supervisor needs to take is to talk to or work with the employee to get any late timesheets submitted and approved as soon as possible. So, if you receive if a supervisor reminder email, but see no timesheets awaiting approval, look for employees who are late submitting their timesheet. (Note, the number of late timesheets is displayed to the supervisor on the main page).
