Why did I choose the MultiView, MultiTouch over the high-resolution SXGA+ screen?
This was not an easy decision. While I was initially drawn to the high-resolution screen, I needed to follow my own advice and consider where and how I would be using the X60 Tablet PC. To begin with I spend a considerable amount of time showing people from a variety of industries the features of the Tablet PC that most pertains to them. With the Hi-Resolution screen I would not be able to show people the “touch” feature of the MultiTouch screen. For a lot of people “touch” is a big selling point so its an important feature to be able to show them. In addition to that, I live in Southern California and drive a convertible, and occasionally run into clients that live in homes with spectacular views so their homes have glass walls. So for me the outdoor viewability of the MultiView screen comes in handy. The MultiTouch screen gives me an excellent picture and I enjoy the flexibility of having the Touch feature.
