Some popular web browsers (notably, Internet Explorer) do not support large file downloads (typically files around 2 GB and over). HP Download Manager extends the download capability of the browser to facilitate the reliable download of large files. HP Download Manager runs within the browser, but temporarily takes over the browser’s native file download functionality. HP Download Manager does not affect other browser functions in any way.
