why did Hollywoodland flop?
Of course, the vast 18-32 year old movie going public has absolutely no interest in a story of a television actor in the 1950’s. Ben Affleck is very possibly, the only reason this film was given the green light. Ben has been awarded the ‘Golden Lion’, an oscar type award, at the Venice film festival, for his portrayal of George Reeves. I sincerely hope the award and Hollywoodland help his career.
