Legendary rock band U2 took the Fordham University campus by storm Friday, playing a heart-stomping private concert before a sea of delirious fans. Bono and the boys even pulled off a near impossible feat: they got nearly 4,000 college students awake before noon. “This concert was a thrill and it was a wonderful thing for Fordham,” said senior Kelsey Baran, 21, among the throngs of bleary-eyed students who waited in the pre-dawn darkness for the start of the 8 a.m. show.
