Why did God create the Serpent that tempted Adam and Eve in the first place?
God didn’t create the serpent. He didn’t set them up to fail and sin. He warned them that if they did, they would die. That was Satan the Devil who was tempting Eve, the inexperienced one and then she shared the fruit with her husband who instead of questioning what she did, just went along with it. In Revelation 12:9 it says, “So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.” As “the original serpent,” he is also the father in a spiritual sense of other opposers which is why Jesus called such ones “serpents, offspring of vipers.” in Matthew 23:33. Plus in John 8:44 it says “You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposit
