Why did Germany invaded other Europe countries rather than conquering Asian countries?

All of these other answers are crap. The truth is that to conquer countries in far flung parts of the globe like Asia, America and Africa you had to have a large fleet and lots of money and manpower. Germany prior to 1871 was not a single country but was made up of dozens of small territories. These territories were not wealthy enough nor had big enough navies themselves to invest in global empires. However, when Germany unified in 1871 it created a new nation that was bigger, more populous and soon to be wealthier than any other European country. However by 1871 most of the world had been claimed already by the other European powers so Germany scrambled to acquire an empire of its own but the only real territory left was in Africa. During the latter 19th century Germany did acquire large territories in Africa but this was the extent of their global empire and it was short lived and removed after WW1. Furthermore, in WW1 Germany did not invade other countries, they came to the defense
