Why did George Lincoln Rockwell have to be assassinated?

0

The write up on the internet says:- ” George Lincoln Rockwell (born March 9th 1918 – died August 25th 1967) was the founder of the American Nazi Party. Rockwell was a major figure in the neo-Nazi movement in the United States, and his beliefs and writings have continued to be influential among white nationalists and neo-Nazis.” Reading about his life I would say that he was assassinated because someone totally disagreed with what Rockwell was saying and doing or the assassin was just a mad man. Even his own mother is supposed to have commented when she heard the news of his death “I am not surprised at all. I’ve expected it for quite some time.” A former member (called John Patler) of Rockwell’s group killed him so you can never tell if it was a bit of jealousy or hate that he felt for Rockwell. Patler began to develop Marxist leanings, which caused friction between fellow party members and he was expelled from the party.
