Why did “George Bush” become President of the US?

0

Because his father, George H.W. Bush, was humiliated, ridiculed, and criticized for ‘not finishing the job’ in Iraq during Desert Storm and ousting Saddam Hussein at that time. The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Hussein ever since, and George, Jr. was ‘selected’ as President so he could ‘settle the score’. By bringing Dick Cheney in as Vice-President, the Bush family put someone in the White House that could keep George, Jr. from screwing up the entire mission (after all, the family’s wealth, influence and power has always bailed George, Jr. out of every other mess he’s gotten himself into). Plus, Cheney wanted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq’s sands, so it made perfect sense to use his Halliburton connections to help start a ‘war’ for more logical reasons than the Bush family’s personal grudge.
