Why did Gabe have a parole officer?
• Gabe mentioned he was visiting his parole officer just before being taken to Tower Prep. When asked what he had done, he only said it was a “misunderstanding.” (“New Kid”) • Gabe also claimed that Senor Guapo talked to him right before he did whatever he did that got him in trouble with the parole officer. (“Dreams”) • When Gabe thinks he is talking to his ‘bunk mate’ Demetrius, he reveals that before he got to Tower he was involved in some sort of trouble with which his dad helped him.
