Why did FOX Sports screw up the start of the Phoenix race?
Has FOX Sports hit a nerve with sports fans or what? This has been a topic of heated discussion all over the NASCAR and baseball forums. Some fans are furious. Most fans know by now that FOX Sports missed the waving of the green flag last Saturday night due to a rain delayed baseball game. After doing some research on the situation here is what I found out. FOX Sports tried their best to please both NASCAR fans and baseball fans. But what actually happened was they made both side furious. You have to give FOX credit for trying to deliver good coverage to both sides. What is amazing is what some fans are saying on the internet. We missed a half lap of racing. Most people miss more than that by taking a bathroom break or getting something to eat. Would it have been nice to see the pre-race activities? Yes it would have. But it is not the end of the world. FOX didnt cause physical harm to anyone. FOX Sports is human. They made a mistake. We all make mistakes, and we learn from them. Trust
