Why did fascism spread in Europe during the 1920s and 1930s?
Now, the above explanation covered two points, the true definition of fascism and its reasons for spreading in Europe (and to other parts of the world). Most people equate fascism to Nazi Germany when, in reality, true fascism exists today (think GM, Citibank, etc). For this reason, many people oppose government bailouts because they know, through history, the hidden dangers of such legislation.
