Why did everyones dad pass in 8 lessons?
We can achieve what everyone’s ‘dad’ achieved in 8 lessons simple basic driving on quiet roads for 20 minutes, that’s not a problem, and years ago that would have been enough to pass a test. But to prepare for and pass today’s test of driving competence, in todays traffic, with todays rules and standards it will take much longer. Today newly qualified drivers make up a fraction of total licence holders, but they are responsible for almost half of all accidents. Young driver deaths have doubled in the last few years too, imagine if the test was easier? Things would be far worse, than the already shocking statistics we have. The test will have to continue to increase in standard as the roads get busier. …………………………………………..
